Viljandi HC – SK Tapa/N.R. Energy 25:20 (12:9). AGG: 51:48

Viljandi HC – Koks 5, Voika 4, Varik 4, Pertelson 4,

SK Tapa/N.R. Energy – Oolup 7, Lees 4, Kosmarik 3.

Marko Koks (coach, Viljandi HC):

First of all I would like to thank the Tapa team for fighting in both games. They played until the end and made our life very difficult. We made our life very difficult. In the first half we missed many easy shots. I think our defence and goalkeeper was the main reason today for our victory. We had changed to finish the game early but as I said Tapa fought until the end. We are happy with the result and we are in the final four.

Kristo Voika (player, Viljandi HC):

We started the game well and we were focused for 59 minutes. Tapa fought really hard but in the end our goalkeeper Rasmus Ots saved us from disaster.

Vahur Oolup (player, SK Tapa/N.R. Energy):

The game, as could be expected from a quarter-final, was very tense even. We knew that a 2-point advantage was not enough and it wouldn’t matter so we went and played the game as we didn’t have any advantage. In the beginning of the game we made too many simple mistakes and Viljandi got a good momentum from that. The game went as far as it could and Rasmus Ots was smarter than our man this time. Thank you our amazing fans who always support us, you are the best. Only going forward from here.

Viljandi HC will meet ZRHK TENAX Dobele in the semi-finals. The other semi-final pair is VHC Šviesa and Pölva Serviti.
